Course Discription:

World History and Geography is a one-semester course consisting of the study of global places, regions, and human interaction including world religions, economic interdependence and cultural themes. Students will analyze and study expanding and intensified hemispheric interactions, the emergence of the first global age, the age of global revolutions, and contemporary global issues through the use of maps, text, and supplemented lesson plans. The course is required for all sophmores and a passing grade is necessary for graduation.
